ABOUT THE RECIPE 

Five-spice powder infuses this pork recipe with an intense flavour. Pork and bok choy stir-fry is a great way to cook bok choy, one of the most popular Asian greens. 

METHOD 

In a hot wok add oil, pork, five spice and garlic and stir-fry for 2 minutes. 
 
Add onions and bok choy and mix in with the rest of the ingredients. 
 
Add water and allow bok choy and onions to soften in the steam. 
 
Finally, add sesame oil and serve.

INGREDIENTS 

2 tablespoons oil 
300g sliced Pork 
1 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice 
1 tablespoon Soy sauce 
1/2 White Onion (cut into cubes) 
300 grams Pak Choi washed and sliced 
1 Garlic Clove (minced) 
4 tablespoons water 
2 teaspoons Sesame oil 

KWOKLYN'S COOKING TIPS 

#1 Use a heavy bottom pan which will retain the heat. 
 
#2 Prep all ingredients before you start to cook.
